The platforming is awful and only raises the difficultly to even more frustrating levels, with the old school manual save system adding further to the misery. The remaster improves the frame rate and pulls back the draw distance. Even with new modern controls the gunplay is extremely simplistic and it’s only the amusingly over-the-top hit animations on enemies that makes it any fun at all.Īt the time Turok’s graphics were draw-droppingly good, despite the frequent slow and a draw distance that ended just a few feet ahead of you in a wall of fog.
